Suffering from a brutal stomach flu, but I had to weigh in on the greatest trade in the Mitch Kupchak era... Brian Cook and blah blah blah for blah blah blah (that's all I really heard). Here's 5 quick takes:
1. The Lakers shipped P.O.S. Brian Cook and his brutal contract for anything (I was willing to accept a microphone).
2. The Lakers sorely needed a LONG, athletic and defensive minded wing and Ariza fits the bill.
3. In-season progress; Mitch Kupchak is finally showing signs of life. Until today, he has NEVER made a midseason trade. Our boy Mitch is all grows up!
4. The Lakers will miss Mo Evans' contribution and effort off the bench (especially now that BS lifer Sasha Vujacic will take his minutes), but they won't miss Evans' poor shot selection. Too many times he killed offensive momentum... no big loss to me.
5. BRIAN COOK IS GONE!!!!!!!
Congratulations Mitch Kupchak!
how many times do the Spurs have to win the championship to get respect? How many of their players have to win international championships? I know you guys are Mav's fans but come on! Give respect where its
