We got a little advance notice on D. Wade's new Converse commercial, which was directed by none other than Spike Lee. You may remember Spike Lee's landmark Nike spots with MJ back in the day, made memorable by his Mars Blackmon character.
According to the press release, these commercials are supposed to reveal "the thoughtful side of Wade with close-up images of Wade beside quotes such as: “Most of what I know I learned from my sister.” Um, hopefully we get a little more insight than that. How about Wade telling us how he got the league to give him all of those phantom foul calls in last year's Finals?
The commercial and the "behind the scenes" clips are both up on Youtube, links are provided below. Personally I was more interested in the behind the scenes footage; hopefully this commercial is just kind of a tease to get us interested in the entire campaign. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
