Just bought some today. Yes, they do feel a tad tight at the top, but I got used to it after a while! And for all the ppl sayin u won't be popular with these shoes, u can. At my school(goin into high school, so ill say my 8th grade class) these were the shoes EVERYONE had. Everyone loved them, and by the looks of what I see around my neighborhood, same for HS. Their great shoes for like gym class, or somethin like that! And their stylish!

I got a pair for casual use. I like the colors and the look and the shoe feels good on my feet. They are not cushioned as well as some other shoes that I have had but the insole is removeable (I am a fan of aftermarket insoles) and they are comfortable enough to wear as is. They beat all generic shoes that I have ever worn and most $40 shoe so I think they are a great bargain.

nashara

hey those starburys are nice

typos

I don't have a pair of these yet because I dont live in New York, but there's quite a few models that look pretty cool, for basketball and just for walking around campus. I think it's great that we can get a nice looking pair of shoes for less than $20. Also, the more popular the brand becomes, Im sure Starbury will be able to do more with their purchasing power and be able to deliver even higher quality $15 dollar shoes in the future. Any person that dislikes the brand cause the shoes are cheap are SPOILED

I just wanted to spread the word on the new Big Ben Wallace kickz!!! They are the real deal!!! I've had them for 3 days now and took them out for a spin out on the courts and ran with them at the indoor gym. They held up real well and felt really comfortable. I have wide feet and the amount of torture I put the shoes through, you'd expect them to tear apart. Not these...In fact they are a better fitting shoe and more comfortable shoe than the Starbury II's. And I liked my II's!!! In fact these Big Bens feel like the old Nike TW trainers from 1991, You know the "Bo Knows shoes..."!, Comfortable as heck and well made. I wonder if the boys on Madison start taking notice? The corporate pigs better watch their backs. Steph and Big Ben have a great thing going here and I'm now a full fledge Movement member. I also hope other NBA stars take notice...don't get me wrong. I've been rockin' Adidas (Old Kobe's and new Garnett's for the last 15 years...but $120 a pop can mount up. I can't believe you sneaker heads who collect dem Jordan's. Last I checked his Airness was worth $400,000,000's...I'm sure he doesn't need anymore of my money. I never understood the whole Status thing with the Jordan's considering most the dudes I know are working normal jobs and shouldn't be fronting. But I know to each there own, if that's what floats your roll then so be it. Just spend that money wisely and invest in your futures. Enough of me preaching and back to shoes. The boyz at the gym were all asking and I have to admit about half of them were impressed and wanted to know where to pick them up. In fact I've taken orders on 4 pairs, so how's that for spreading the movement. To tell you the truth I'm not even a big Steph fan and hated Big Ben for beating my Lakers in 2004. But game does recognize game and have respected both of their individual games. So to all of you all peep these shoes out and don't allow other's dictate how you live. There's nothing like face planting my Big Bad Ben's over some dude's all Niked out self. No better satisfaction...let your game speak for yourself.....Peace!

I bought me a pare of them and I love them

I really do love all my starburys.

josh

i bought a pair of starburys when they first came out and they held up good in basketball season. i love wearin them of the court too cuz they are really comfortable and i can use them for like gym class and workin around the house. me and all my friends wear nike shox but we like starburys too. i have 5 pairs and you cant beat them for 15 bucks

The other companies pay huge advertising dollars and make huge profits at our expense. They make shoes at a very low cost in other countries and sell them to us at astronomical profits. Marbury has done us a great service in providing excellent shoes at low cost. I'm a middle-aged baller and I've worn plenty of over-priced shoes. I love my new pair of Starbury shoes, and I intend to stay with them. Why should I pay more?

John

i have the starbury 2's and the big ben wallace ones...they feel more comfortable than chuck taylors and other nikes that cost about 50 to 80 bucks

Dunkadelic King of NY

Stephon Marbury is doing a noble cause by endorsing a low priced shoe. Steph has been a major influence with the basketball and hip-hop culture fusion (The "Dunkadelic-Era" In America, 1984-Present) of the past 24 years. The culture has been about big-money, big-cribs, big-cars, and big-jewerly since the mid 90's. Steph who drives a $250,000 dollar Bentley is now carrying about the price of kids sneakers. If he had 50 million on the table like Kobe, A.I., and LeBron would he be pitching a $15.00 shoe. Not in America baby!!!

Federtino

I posterized a nigga with my starburys ya digg

bigbeef2

You just can't beat $8.95 a a pair, which the local "Steve & Barrys" is selling them for....winter clearance (tons of sneakers on shelves). Nice looking, comfortable, numerous color combinations. The hell with paying Nike, et al 100's of my hard-earned green. These'll do just fine.

jason

I'm on my second pair of Starbury II's. I really like the styling and I find them very lightweight and comfortable. Can't really tell any different from my old Nike's except for less cushion in the sole and they seem to hold up just as long.

Mr.Mags

I like the Starbury personally, they fit me perfect and they is better than buyin a 150 dollar Jordan. They good for basketball as well. They good enough fo me!

john

Whats up with this stuff talkin bout starberrys is like paper??? Starberryrs are tight. They are tripping. AND they only cost 14.98$$

ryan

The Big Ben's are my favorite. I'll definitley be wearing these for summer league.

peter

i don't get why people are complain so much about the shoe's soles.. in my opinion its only common sense that you change the soles with pair of soles you find comfortable.. is that too hard or are you just not that smart..???

Jumpman

Not to cause any hatred but Starbury's suck I'm 16 and I bought some for basketball practice at my high school. First of all the shoes were really uncomfortable it just killed my feet everytime i went in for a layup and they hurt my ankles every time i jump and land at medium impact. 2nd after about 2 weeks of usage they tore up on the rear end of the shoe. Lastly to most people starbury's are gay because most people at my school laughed at them cause they were ghetto looking. In the end i bought some Air jordan 22/1 countdown packs which felt way better and actually lasts longer than 2 weeks.

Converse UK

No doubt this is really informative post, thanks for sharing such a helpful source. I am big fan of basketball who loves basketball more than anything else. Usually i used Starbury, Converse UK for basketball and I think specialist can help to improve game performance what you think?
