OK FIRST, I JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU TO WHOEVER IDES IT WAS TO MAKE SMEAKERS THAT THE HOOD CAN BUY. ITS FUNNY BECAUSE MAJORITY OF HOODSTARS COME UP BROKE IS HELL THEN MAKE IT BIG AND START MAKIN CLOTHES FOR THE RICH INSTEAD OF MAKING CLOTHES AND SHOPES YOU KNOW THE PPL WHERE GREW UP CAN AFFORD.
SECOND TO THE PERSON THAT IS TALKIN ABOUT THE SNEAKERS MIGHT BE A JOKE UR THE JOKE IF UR REALLY CONCERN WAT EVERYONE ELSE THINKS ABOUT UR SHOES. NOT FOR NOTHIN I WENT TO THE WEBSITE AND THE SNEAKERS I PURCHASE WERE THE CROSSOVER LE WHICH LOOK JUST LIKE AIRFORCE ONES JUST 3X LESS THE COST. CYCLONE II AND SXM TRAINERS LOOK JUST LIKE NEW BALANCES SO I THINK THERE GREAT THEY DONT BREAK MY POCKET AND I CAN GET ALL MY KIDS A NICE PAIR OF SNEAKERS FOR THE PRICE OF 1 PAIR OF NIKES. SO WHOEVER THOUGHT THIS IDEA I SAY THANK YOU AND YOU GUYS HAVE MY FULL SUPPORTS AND I WILL CONTINUE TO BUYS THESE SNEAKERS AS LONG AS YOU KEEP MAKIN THEM.

I have never been athletic but I have always worn sneakers. I have owned nike, reebok, asics and fila sneakers. The Starbury II sneakers feel the same (I do a lot of walking). Not only do the Starbury's feel good, but the sneakers look good. I believe this fashionable foot wear is going to give nike and reebok competition. My favorite Starbury sneakers: Starbury II (black & white); Starbury Team (all black & all white); Bowery (red & white, blue & orange, blue & white, khaki/brown/orange).

Starbuly also has a great line of clothing: jeans; shorts; polo tops; caps; t-shirts; short sleeve shirts; sweat suits; sweaters; jackets.

Everything is affordable: $7.98; $12.98; $14.98.

Well it's about time to end the hype over these other brands that offer high-end basketball shoes at practically unreasonable prices. It's but greatly laudable what Marbury is doing for the marginalized majority of society. Before, it is no doubt that not every kid can have top perfomance sneakers unless they get their burdened parents to shell out more or less $100. This is pretty way over the practical, especially if the parents still have the light and utility bills to proritize first on the list. This remarkable cause is even more helpful in putting a stop at the increasing number of crime cases involving teenage victims being robbed of their flashy and high-priced kicks at gun point. It could be that the Starbury's may not exactly keep up with the other high-priced shoes in terms of performance and player-specifications over time, but given the quality that it can give the price is still, in all fairness, way lower and that any other manufacturer may produce the same and price it at 50 to 70 bucks more. It's really the honest intention of Marbury of giving the average kid a chance to own something cool which they can afford that makes the bulk of the positive impact and response that this marketing cause is getting as of late. But what i like most about this vision of Marbury is that he is actually trying to teach kids nowadays to become a man and realize how hard it is for parents to put up money to make ends meet, and also to discover that the real talent and value is what's inside the man and not in the expensive things that he owns.

The Starbury clothing line is sold exclusively at Steve and Barry's, located in Manhattan Mall at 34th Street. Take the B, D, F, V, Q, N or R train to 34th St./Herald Square. Steve and Barry's is on the 3rd Floor. Manhattan Mall is the former A & S Plaza.

I don't own a pair of Starbury's but I saw him promoting them on Oprah. Let me say this one thing. Nike, has been critcized for a long time for using sweatshops to produce their shoes. I'm going to buy as many pairs of Starbury's that I can for my children and myself. Not only because they are 15 bucks but because Marbury proves that you quality doesn't have to break the bank. You can do good and make money too.

mike williams

well, i have about 4 pair of starburys gym shoes i'm almost 50 years old my basketball playing days are over, so i get the shoes for every day wear, they are very comfortable and stylish and i like them. for every day people i think its a good deal. i'm not knocking jordans or anybody elses shoes this is a great thing this young man is doing. for you people thats throwing rocks at him dont you wish you would have come up with this ideal? : ) are you still going to knock him when Ben Wallace comes aboard?

JAG

I don't play ball but, after seeing Marbury on Oprah (caught the show by chance since I don't watch Oprah), I was impressed with this cause and his plan to do something good for the community. It's a great idea and makes all the other high-dollar athletes look greedy. Marbury's got the right direction/intention. For those out there who rag on Marbury saying he's only in this for his own profit, come on...give me a break. I'll go out an buy a bunch of pairs today just because I want to support this cause. All you haters and critics...take yourselves to the big retailers and spend what you want for the overpriced stuff. Whatever...

Zachman

i just want to say that starbury s1's happen to be the best shoes out there.
im in 8th grade and cant stand the little bitches who say there air jordans are so much better, and im like "well... i can by 10 or more of these while you buy one of those. so yeah...

Austin berry

the starbury shoes are so tight i always like basketball shoes but there always expensive and then i heard about thes and there only $15 so i had to get them. I think you did a really good thing because not all kids can afford expensive shoes your the best

These shoes are great for me. I have played in mine roughly 10-15hours a week now for 3 weeks. They've seemed to hold up like my usual kicks. I've burned through Iversons and Jordans every summer, so I'm not really expecting to get through the summer with the same pair of Starburys.....the big thing for me is that for just playing ball, I don't need $200 a summer anymore. I can get by on $50 or so and be comfortable and not look 'out of place' on the court either. I'm very glad that there is an alternative for those of us that don't need to "stay fly" on the ball court. I'll let my game speak for me, not my sneakers.

kody phillips

these shoes are the best.i have 4 pairs. playing bball in them 3 hours a day for 2 months.
