With two great games on tonight, you would think that TNT wouldn't need to give us any additional reasons to tune in. We have Dallas with a chance to close out the defending champs, and we have the 05-06 champion Pistons looking to untie their series with the King and his Cavs.
I'm guessing however that many viewers will be just as interested in the halftime and post-game shows, as Kobe Bryant will be sitting in with Kenny and Charles for the entire evening. Remember about a week ago when Charles Barkley criticized Kobe for his play in the second half of the game 7 against PHX, and Kobe supposedly fired back with several profanity-laced text messages? Well now they can talk face to face, on national television. Should be great, as players tend to be a little less cliche when they hang with the TNT crew. Kobe is still trying to publicly rehab his image, and Barkley doesn't back down from anybody, so this should be good.
On one recent show, Barkley was joking and called Kenny "George Jefferson," and Kenny responded by calling Barkley "Mr. Bookman," who was also known as "Buffalo Butt" on the classic show Good Times. Barkley looked at him very seriously and said "say that again." He really looked like he was ready to throw down! It got to the point where Kenny and Ernie were like, "hey, you started it," followed by loud nervous laughter. Hopefully Kobe says something equally funny and antagonistic tonight.
Such a good writing, or by I saw for the first time. I'm quite happy, you are a good writer
