LeBron literally stepped up and carried Cleveland to a 97-96 victory over D.C. Friday night. I'll give the guy some credit, after Game 2's abominable performance, LBJ quickly struck back with 41 points. With that 41,000 media members will surely suck on LeBron's member praising him after each spit.
Am I a bitter Wiz fan? Hell no! I actually just got home from Staples and the Lakers 99-93 win over 05-06 MVP (???) Steve Nash's Suns to see the highlights from the Wiz-Cavs game. So I'm a little amped up right now, but not too amped to see that the NBA will no longer call traveling when LBJ has the ball. Did you see that last basket? Kevin McHale and his 4 step post move is rolling over in his grave. I thought A.I. got away with a few steps, but damn! And the prior offensive possession... mix in a jump ball!
LBJ is a great basketball player (he dropped a SERIOUS no-look dime to Z!), but let him earn his points and subsequent hype.
So watch out Detroit! I'm guessing David Stern will go into his bag of tricks (Knick Bavetta?) and suddenly (poof!!!) the Eastern Conference Semifinals will be a 7 game series.
There were travels all game (LeBron and Arenas both took their fair share of steps) and there were some no-calls on both sides (LeBron was fouled a bit on his 3-step game winner).
Overall, a sloppy game by all.

Yeah that was a horribly officiated game on both sides. He walked, but there were equally terrible calls that went the other way.
