Most people consider these the dog days of the NBA. With most playoff berths already decided, teams are only playing for seeding and are thought to be coasting until the playoffs begin. That's not the case though when you either have two of the top teams clashing, or two of the game's premier superstars going head to head, and the latter is exactly what we got today in Cleveland.
LBJ and D. Wade put on a killer show in a game that was won by Cleveland in the final minutes. Both players traded incredible plays the entire 4th quarter, and it was amazing to watch. Check out the final stat lines for both players:
LBJ: 47 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, on 16-25 shooting.
Wade: 44 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists, on 18-36 shooting.
WOW. In the 4th quarter alone, Wade had 22 and LBJ had 18. Just an incredible battle between two of the game's top 5 players. If I were a CLE fan I wouldn't be overly excited with the win, considering the Heat rested Shaq again were without Shaq due to injury. He is expected to play tomorrow though when MIA goes to NJ to hand the Nets their 12th straight win.
One of the best games i've seen all season.
