In a game featuring two teams struggling through injuries, the Mavs went into Houston and took care of the Rockets. Dallas had far more firepower than Houston, even with injuries to Josh Howard, Adrian Griffin, Devin harris, and Keith Van Horn. Houston was without T-Mac and David Wesley, and basically Yao was their only source of offense.
So who is Rawle Marshall, besides the guy who started for the Mavs tonight, and scored 12 points in 26 minutes on 4-7 from the field? Beats me. He went to college in Oakland after transferring from Ball State, and was an undrafted free agent who had some decent showings in the summer league with Memphis and Dallas. Dallas signed him before the season in August, and he's been inactive and buried on the bench for most of the year.
Marshall was a key in tonight's win for the Mavs, because obviously Houston coach Van Baldy had never heard of him either. He continually instructed his team to double off of ol' Rawle, who either hit wide open shots, drove to the lane, or swung the ball for a teammate to get an easy hoop. We've noticed all season that the Mavs are a deep team, but who knew they could just plug in the last guy on their bench and get quality results.
hey,
this dude is good. I have 2 dallas game worn jerseys of him. and one is that he wore that night!!!

He is my role model because he is just about the only good NBA player from Guyana. ( A small country in Brazil.) To be more exact, he is from the capitol of Guyana, Georgetown.
Lets go Rawle! Georgetown representin'

My mistake, I meant to say a small country near Brazil.
