Denver beat Phoenix last night in a triple overtime game, outlasting the Suns 137-135. For the Suns, this is their second triple overtime loss in the past 8 days. Why is PHX losing these types of games to seemingly less talented teams?
The answer, as always, lies in the box score. Phoenix is a very thin team right now. They played only 7 players last night, and 2 of those players fouled out! Eddie House, the supposed replacement for Quentin Richardson, shot only 2-7 in 19 minutes. When Raja Bell is your leading scorer, you have problems. Three of the PHX starters played over 53 minutes, and obviously (like the game against the Knicks) they were too tired to play any defense. They didn't even turn to Pat Burke in crunch time! How about expending some energy on the defensive end of the floor early in the game so you don't have to play all night just to lose to bad teams?
As for Denver, Earl Boykins is playing like a mini-Nash lately. More like Nash lite, but still. He is pushing the ball, creating dribble penetration, and scoring (33 last night) when the defense sags off of him. And let's not start up the Carmelo hype machine just yet. While he has been making clutch shots lately, it's really not that impressive that he scored 43 points in triple overtime. If you want to be impressed, see Kobe scoring 40 in the second half of a game, or 62 in three quarters.
I agree with you!

donc je ne pense pas qu'il ait vraiment un jeu jumpshot médiums, soit - je l'aurais mis dans la catégorie des tronçonneuses et des acteurs à l'intérieur ainsi que Amare, Hill et Barbosa.
