Tonight the Clippers travel to Golden State (well, Oakland, actually; Golden State is not an actual place) to play the second of a home and home series against the Warriors. The Clippers won yesterday's contest easily, leading by as many as 24 in the 4th.
Baron Davis and the Warriors were upset at Cassell taking a 12-foot jumper as time expired, instead of customarily dribbling out the clock. Davis took the ball after Cassell hit the shot and wound up like he was about to chuck it to the other end of the court, before teammates implored him not to throw the ball. As we know, NBA players will look for any little thing for motivation. Look for Baron to go gangsta tonight and for the Warriors to get the easy win.
