Couple of quick takes on the Clippers/Spurs game last night. The Clips really should have won that game. They were still playing without Corey Maggette, and they played excellent defense and took the Spurs down to the wire. But you can't win if you don't score, and at one point in OT there was the "2 field goals in the last 11 minutes" stat for the Clippers. They were lucky to be able to stay close at all considering that they shot 33% from the field for the game. Unfortunately, the days of moral victories are in the past for this team, they need to find a way to close games out and get the W.
As for the Spurs, Duncan was so disinterested he was letting Kaman and Brand take him to the rack at will, and went 1-11 from the free throw line until the game was on the line. Of course he then calmly made both to tie the game. They are TOTALLY coasting, and probably will be until after the All-Star break.
