"Yet one lay-up equals a stare-down, primal scream and a chest thump."

True, but Sasha does the EXACT SAME THING. One of Ariza's beautiful saves led to a simple layup for him and he was pounding his chest like he hit a three at the buzzer with someone in his face in game 7 of the finals. Much like Rondo gets wide open looks, Sasha gets them because of Kobe and Pau. He seems to be under the mistaken impression that he actually has talent.

got to go to the game when I got tickets as a surprise xmas present and being there was freaking awesome. I've complained in past seasons about the low level of passion and noice generated by Laker home crowds in games I've been able to attend in the past, but there were no such complaints on this night. I still have no voice :)

Umm, your an absolute dumbass if you think that Rondo only scores by hitting wide open jump shots: He scores a lot in transition by torching everybody else down the court and making an often times amazing layup. Rondo also scores when the original play fails and the shot clock is winding down and he drives to the basket. He killed Deron Williams and the Jazz a few games ago with the pick and roll. If Rondo could hit jumpshots more consistently, he'd be Tony Parker with defense. The Lakers are the only team in the league that ignore Rondo as much as they do; Rondo will have to start hitting those jumpers if Boston is to beat LA again, though.

Eddie House or Damon Jones?

Which PG has the worst handles?

Anyways, the Celtics have me so peeved I'm hoping to death that the Cavs can knock them off in the ECF. But a large part of me wants to see a rematch.

The Pistons and Magic, blah, not good enough.
