Lots of fun goings on at the Draft last night, (read through the amazing 5-hour live-blog if you missed any of it) but this video of Brook Lopez being mic'd up might have been my favorite moment. Seriously, what a tool this guy is. "Oh, it's sooo boring waiting to see how many millions of dollars I'm going to earn over the next three years!" Awesome. Maybe he can work on his personality this summer while he works on his post game.
"LAWRENCE FRANK?!" Someone just bought himself some extra wind sprints his first day of practice.

Too bad the Lakers didn't draft him, he would have been a perfect fit- a big soft annoying pussy.

Do you believe that they are people who THINK something more, than how many dollars I will earn next season"? - I believe he would fit to LA squad - better than Chris The Pussy Mihm or Vlade - Let's Stand Under The Hoop - Radmanovic.

why break from a system if he believe it's the best system for easy offense? He makes excellent in game adjustments and like Craig said, his teams almost never commit dumb mental errors during important playoff games and his teams are generally only beaten by teams with superior talent and mental fortitude (think pistons

If the NBA is going to force kids to go to college for any set prioed of time, they might as well force them to go for the full 4 years (or until they graduate with a degree) or forcing them to go for any set amount of time is meaningless. Going to school for only 2 years when it requires 4 years to get most bachelor's degrees with a normal course-load still isn't doing much for anyone academically.Since I don't see the NBA ever requiring players to earn a degree before playing in the league (and I don't think they should), I'd say I don't think the NBA should force kids to go to school for any set amount of time unless it's long enough to get a bachelor's degree in something.
