Is Kobe Bryant faking the finger injury to get out of All Star Weekend?
Look, I know he dislocated his finger against New Jersey several days ago and I know his game was seriously affected in the loss at Atlanta by the injury, but the guy's been averaging 32.3 ppg. since then.
Here's how I see it: Kobe's looking at a *LONG* postseason run and a *LONG* summer with the Olympics (which suddenly don’t look as appealing now that LA is a legit title contender) so he’s taking time off to regenerate the batteries. LeBron did it with the fake finger injury earlier this year so why can’t Kobe?
Anyway, that’s just an idea (actually, as a Laker fan, more like a wish). The Lakers really can’t do anything in the west with Bynum and Kobe both out for weeks. Sure they would beat the lower level teams with Odom and Gasol at the helm, but they’re not beating the Suns, Spurs and Warriors without Kobe.

Hm, remember this one?

I'm sure you'll have a similar post coming upon Kobe soon right?
Get Kobe a Maxi Pad- Stat!

Kobe has NOT missed a game yet because of his injury whereas LeBron missed 5 games and LeBron's injury wasn't even as bad (tear vs. strain).
