Wade Needs A Wheelchair For His Shoulder?!

by Brett Edwards

Dwyane Wade dislocated his shoulder in last night's loss to the Rockets. Pat Riley returned to jinx the Heat superstar, and you have to wonder if Riles will stick around now that Wade will be out for a while. After all, he couldn't handle coaching a crap team while Shaq was out, what makes us think he won't need to, uh, "replace his other hip" or something so he can sit out until the playoffs?

But that's not what I'm interested in right now. What I want to know is, since when does a shoulder injury require a wheelchair?! Wade is famous for exaggerating an injury on one end of the floor and then exploding for a dunk on the very next play. Being wheeled off the court after an arm injury just seems a little extreme to me. I recently dislocated my freaking knee, and limped my ass to the car and drove 20 miles home. All I'm saying is, the wheelchair is laying it on a bit thick.

You're right about the wheelchair... where the heck did they find an extra wheelchair anyways? I've seen guys roll their ankles and tear their acl but they still have to limp back to the locker room. I guess this is called superstar treatment.

"where the heck did they find an extra wheelchair anyways?"

They're in freaking Florida! Isn't there like a million senior citizens in wheel chairs within walking distance to the America Airlines Arena?

Hey now the game was in Houston, but I bet they have a lot of old people there too.

I guess you'd have to be in his position, but I can't imagine the pain being so bad that you can't walk off the court. I guess we'll never know.

riley , quick make a deal to acquire vince carter . you don't those season ticket holders suing you for your lousy timing.

Sorry, but it's sick what you're writing. You can don't like him (Wade) but the most important thing to you abuout that is, that he rode on a wheelchair - THAT'S SICK. I had a lot of broken bones in my life, and trust no matter where is your pain, it has big influence on your strenght. You can hate his style, you can hate that, he is playing with Shaq, you can hate him for whatever you want, but ples focus on much important things than (what is he doing on a wheelchair)!

And the Oscar for outstanding use of the English language with a focus on punctuation goes to...

that's a stupid post. when you have nothing to say, say nothing.
oh well, you did.

I agree, Wade is one of the biggest drama queens in the NBA. I dont know if he drasticaly over exagerates his injuries, or just feels more pain than others but something is off.

if d wade took that wheelchair, then how are riley and shaq gonna leave the court?

ok then, i'm sorry about my lunguage, but i'm not from america or england, so just sorry, about the topic: wheelchair was the best way to not make this thing worse than it was, if he would go to locker-room without his arm stiff, he could hurt hisself much more

Hey, I had a plus 3 separation of my shoulder as well, from snowboarding. Let me tell you the pain put on the shoulder from just walking was enough to make me want to cry. I wish I had a wheelchair instead of being dragged behind a snowmobile in a damn sled being pelted with snow in the face. LOL.

Brett Edwards, please study anatomy and kinesiology first before picking on anybody's ordeal over an injury.. nobody's gonna get the exact same degree of pain and complication. so shut you freakin mouth up when you dont know about nothin. thank you

same goes to you Keith and Ninjitsu!

you dumbass. i bet wade could walk off the court if he wanted. but the trainer called for a wheelchair cuz he didn't want wade to put more stress on the shoulder and aggravate the injury.
