That's German for outstanding. Dirk Nowitzki drops the biggest 50 spot in his career. After falling behind by 7 in the 3rd quarter, he simply put his team on his back and carried them to victory moving them one game away from The Finals.

Here's a few pics from last night's win starting with Dirk's postgame ice down (at least I hope that's what he's doing). Just don't let Carl Monday see this photo. Whatever. Drop a playoff 50 and you can do whatever you want Dirk.

Dirk saved Dallas from a sure loss. The third quarter was screaming a Phoenix upset as they were dictating the pace. It didn't help that Dallas decided to double Nash on the perimeter which gave Tim Thomas wide open looks as he hit a ton of threes followed by that hand gesture. (What does that mean?) You NEVER double Nash on the perimeter! He'll pick apart the defense like he did in the third quarter last night.

that hand thing tim thomas does is the 'tony yayo dance' i dont know why he does it so much or why he adopted it though

although the Yayo dance is similar to what he's doing... my theory is that the hand thing is the "I've got the hot hand" move... he's blowing on it to cool it off (A-YO, or YAYO?)

I second the "hot hand" theory... he's just blowing on his hand to cool it off after all those threes heated it up.

No, Tim Thomas's hand thing is what he does when he makes a three to signify that he made it even with a hand in his face.

That's what it's supposed to mean, yet you often see him do it even when he's open; out of habit, I guess.
