Shaq is running his mouth again, which is like saying Christmas will be on December 25th this year: everyone knows it's coming. This time he felt the need to respond to some completely innocuous comments from Lakers' owner Jerry Buss.
The funny thing about this is that Buss wasn't taking any shots at Shaq, he was just being honest and answering questions asked in an interview. He was candid in stating that there were questions whether or not Shaq would report to camp in shape, as well as questions about what his true salary demands were. Buss has shown nothing but class to Shaq for his time in L.A., as evidenced by the recognition he gave Shaq earlier this season.
Hey Shaq: These are completely harmless and honest remarks, which do not require any response from you. These comments definitely don't require you to respond by calling Buss "dishonest" and saying that you aren't going to let people talk about you without responding. We also don't need you to recite your resume of playoff heroics from 5 years ago. If you could still play like that in the Finals (and you didn't in the 2004 loss to the Pistons) you would still be a Laker.
The real reason that Shaq is no longer here is because of his diminishing skills, high price tag, overly sensitive personality, and most of all his big mouth. Do us all a favor and keep your mouth shut fat man, otherwise you're just giving Laker fans more reasons to hate you.
